![]() ![]() I too took the C&B bait for its availability and prima facie attractiveness overall. farce, but for the lack entertainment value or instruction the latter might offer. Like income distribution, there seems to be no middle road (maybe I've just been out of the (shrewd/desperate consumer game for too long) with regard to furniture finding a legitimate piece of furniture that is equitably priced seems to be the stuff of Classic English-Lit. The two large doors won’t even close right, the doors scrape against the top/bottom of the surrounding wood - could possibly be re-aligned to fix, but really it’s just unacceptable. Ordered this since already had those two and the quality is just shameful. The bed with the mattress on it doesn’t have the same hollowness so that too seemed fine. I’ve had the matching bed and nightstand for about a year and while I had the same thought about the feel of nightstand when it first arrived, it seemed ok for the price at the time. Unfortunately I signed off on the delivery as I was hard pressed for time (was on a work call when they showed up with no warning), hopefully I can return it. Then I asked him to touch it and he said it must have cost even less. I asked a friend how much he thought it cost he said $500 before even touching it. What I received today was the 86” media console for $2000. Your description was spot on and when I saw you ordered from the exact same line there’s no question - returning it. Sought out this thread after having a C&B delivery today. I've been diluting myself and bought in hard core to their marketing scheme. ![]() My thought process was that I have a son now and he's maybe too harsh with them. My fault.īought a whole new set of dishware and all of the pieces now have these small chips along the edges. Maybe they weren't meant to go in the dishwasher. Again, I must have been negligent somehow. Over just a few years they all developed cracks down the middle, broke in half, and had to be discarded. I registered and received a large set of dishware when I got married. I shouldn't try to get quality for a low price. So, I convinced myself that the bad quality was a one off and they were selling this one bad thing at a cheeper price. In terms of furniture, I've only ever purchased a side table and it was on the lower range of their tables in terms of cost. Honestly, and I'm not proud of this, I've been a pretty loyal C&B customer for years and just realized their quality sucks!!
